National Cyber Partnership
Description
The public-private National Cyber Partnership is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit based in Tampa Bay, Florida, created to tackle today’s ever growing cyber and cybersecurity challenges and threats through education and research.
Brief
JenTekk was contacted by the National Cyber Partnership to design and develop the website / main portal element of an upcoming pilot project The National Center for Cyber Studies. Its objective: to offer veterans, military and civilians an opportunity to attain a high skill, high paying career within the cyber security industry through full-tuition scholarships, fast-track online enhanced cyber studies, real world training, and job placement assistance.
Brief cont'd
The complexity of this project resided primarily in the admissions component. The site needed to clearly present course prerequisites and details, instructor bios, fees, dates, requirements for entrance into the course and VA benefits if applicable. Additionally it needed to walk each potential student through the application process, including: required downloadable documents, multi-user online application forms, enforcing required fields, validating form data input type, auto-assigning unique IDs to each student, providing document upload during and after the application process, ability to collect several types of application fees, auto-subscribe applicant to an email list for future admissions communications, auto-response email, and auto-forwarding and exportable application form data including document download links to the Admissions department for processing. All this not a simple task, but with much research, planning and determination - doable!
